Let’s not forget that this employer needs you – and while you need a job, they need your skills and they recognize your skills enough to offer you the job in the first place. There’s nothing wrong with asking for the things you want.

When you are considering a job offer from a business, you need to consider the future goals that you have. You want to know that there is an opportunity for advancement. If you want to climb the career ladder, make it clear and ensure that you know the company is going to help you to achieve those goals.
Where Will You Work?
Is the location of the job workable for you? You need to make sure that you are accepting a job for a location that you can get to every day. If you can’t get there, accepting the job would be a bad idea. You also don’t want to spend money on a commute if you can help it!
Work Culture
You have to consider the culture of the workplace you are planning to work within. If the culture is boring or the environment isn’t a nice one, then you have to consider whether you want to work there long term.
Your Boss
What was the vibe that you got during your interview? Your new boss has to be on the same level as you and they have to be supportive of you and your goals. Before you accept the role, ensure that you are happy to work alongside a new person.
