Bertolli Meal Soup a Weeknight Dinner

The following is a review I did last year for an old blog:

I love trying new food and with the Bertolli Meal soup not only did I get to try some amazing soup, but I had a great meal for around $3 a person.

I checked out the Tomato Florentine & Tortellini with Chicken soup. When I got my coupon to try it out I ran right out and to the freezer section of my grocery store. Yes, the freezer section! That already is a great sign for a quick easy meal. I picked up my soup and took off home to get ready for my dinner.

Making the soup is so simple just pour it into the pot and add water. That’s it! Stir it a few times and your ready to go. I added some really yummy garlic bread to my meal and I thought it ended up being a very nice filling dinner for a weeknight. The best part is it only took about a half hour or so to cook so it’s perfect for a weeknight when your in a hurry to eat. It’s also much better then fast food, both in taste and healthy eating!

My sister who ate my meal with me even loved the soup and she’s very picky with her food. The soup was amazing to me as well, the pasta was perfect and it’s not spicy at all, though it does have a ton of great flavor.  This is something I would have again.

One suggestion I have to make your evening memorable and fun would be to light a few candles if it’s just you and a loved one or if it’s a family event let the kids help cook. All they have to do is stir the soup and if you use bread like me they can help prepare that. Getting kids involved in even easy weeknight meals teaches them great talents and tools for later in life.
