How To Measure Your CBD

When asked what dose of cbd oil to take, we cannot give you an exact number as it does not exist. The CBD oil dose is a variable value that is different for each person. Sure, there is a dosage range to specify – 10-150 mg per day – but this range is too wide to be of any use. It all depends on your body. The best way to find the right dose is to start with a very small amount (say 2mg) and gradually increase it by 2 to 5 mg per dose to see what will work.

Finding the optimal dose is difficult without personal experience with CBD, but there are several general ranges for different individuals that are determined based on indicators such as age and weight that will help determine the correct dose that we need. We will dedicate further in this article to estimate.

We often find two people who are the same gender and despite being almost identical in weight and height, react very differently to the same dose of CBD. We will also look at how the dose of CBD can change depending on the reason for use – some complaints usually require higher doses, others then lower doses. We’ll see how the CBD works for some of the most common uses for CBD.

General Guide to Dosing CBD Oil

There are several general pointers that can help you determine the dosage. However, it’s important to always start below the recommended dosage and work your way up from there. So you will try to see how you will react to the lower dose before increasing it. It is better to start with a lower and not too high dose and gradually increase it. You certainly don’t want to take too much the first time to avoid the risk of side effects (dryness in the mouth, diarrhea, changes in appetite, fatigue, lowering of blood pressure).

Any combination with medicinal products should be discussed with your doctor! The rule of thumb for the strength of the dosage is: Low strength → 1 mg CBD per 5 kg (0.2 mg / kg) Medium strength → 3 mg CBD per 5 kg (0.6 mg / kg) High strength → 6 mg CBD per 5 kg (1.2 mg / kg) It’s important to note that these claims apply to pure CBD, not CBD oil. We will recalculate later to what extent this can be used when dosing CBD oil. In the meantime, take a look at the overview of rounded body weights and the resulting dosages in pure CBD.

Adjust your dose to suit your body

This is one of the most important steps. As already mentioned, everyone reacts differently to CBD oil. This means that you need to assess how it affects you individually rather than starting from the experiences of others. A dose of 20 mg may be enough for your friend, while you may need more or less. The only way you can really tell is to start with the dose calculated above and then tweak it further. Maybe you took 20 mg and got no relief, so the logical step is to increase the dose to the next strength and then reevaluate everything.
