It has been a while since I had to deal with little kittens. My brother who until a week ago I was living with got a kitten, but he took care of it. Now I have gotten myself two of them. As I am typing this one is trying to jump onto the keyboard and the other is watching to see if he succeeds.
When my cat of over 14 years passed in February I wasn’t sure when I would feel ready to get another pet, I knew I wanted 2 kittens as I had always wished I had gotten my cat Kisses a friend, but by the time I got her she was a year and didn’t really like other cats. I tried once, it was not pretty.
By the way Pumpkin, did succeed in getting to my keyboard.
What I love most about having my kitties is that they entertain me now that I’m back on my own. I’m not alone and since I have bad anxiety having these two here are a huge help. Dixie is my female and she is very spunky yet loves to snuggle, she has just now reached the keyboard.
They can be a huge distraction, but at the same time I am so happy that I found the two I did. As you can see from the photos, they are adorable and are really very sweet. Below is them enjoying their new sectional. If you have cats you understand what I mean!
