About Surrender
To save her father, Kailin must control her magical gift of telekinesis and unearth the cryptic Orb of Life in nineteenth-century Egypt. Only one man can help her, a treasure hunter with an agenda of his own. Besides battling demons, Kailin must also battle her attraction to the handsome American cowboy aiding her search. Jackson Black desperately wants the Orb, an artifact said to have power over life and death. But to get it he must ignore his conscience and do things he never thought he’d do. Falling for Kailin will only jeopardize his mission.
Only Kailin’s complete surrender to Jackson, the one man who can mute her powers, will save her life. But when she discovers his secret, it will take more than magic to save her heart. It will take trust and the ultimate treasure–love.
My Review of Surrender
I love this series! It’s really such an involved story and though it’s a romance series it’s so much more then that! Surrender is book 4 of the Dragonfly series and I find I just can not put these books down. The story of the 4th sister Kailin is a wild adventure across Egypt you get to experience the culture, the pyramids and camels! Yes I like camels!
What I love most is that Kailin really represents a lot of women who feel like they just always must be in control, though in Kailins case she really does need to be. It’s interesting how the story shows her slowly letting down her guard and letting Jackson into her heart.
The series is building to it’s close and I for one am so excited to see where it leads. The story is not done yet, though I’m not sure when the next book comes out, but I want to know more! It really is that interesting of a series. If you love romance and Armageddon type books you will want to read this series!

Thank you so much for the fabulous review! What a lovely way for me to wake up this morning, especially after dealing with 3 tired kids with candy hangovers.
I’m thrilled you like the series : ) Book 5 is whirling around in my head. Oooo – it’s going to be so good!
Have a fluttering-glorious-fall-leaves kind of day! Heather
