The Beauty Bucket List Low-Down, Are These On Yours

When it comes to how we look, this time of year especially can mean we have more of a focus on it. We are all ready for the change of season with spring and summer, and this can mean that we make changes to our wardrobe and also how we look.

A beauty bucket list is something that many of us will have, and here are some of the things to have on yours. Make yourself a priority this year. 

Change in hair color

One of the first things that you could consider would be to change your hair color, this can become quite a drastic change, especially if you do something like go light to dark or vice versa. A change in hair color can be a real confidence boost, and if you combine that with a change in hairstyle can also be a beauty boost.

It does take a lot of guts to do something drastic to your hair as it can be an emotive area of your body and make real changes to the way you look. Which is why it tends to be something that is on a beauty bucket list for anything other than your usual cut and blow-dry. 

A piercing 

Maybe you like the idea of getting a piercing and it could be the ideal thing to consider. It might be that you want to think about a piercing to your ears, or maybe something more adventurous such as a daith piercing, your nose or even your tongue or lips if you want. The best advice is to embrace the inner you and to be proud of who you are if a piercing is how you want to do then go for it.

Teeth whitening or straightening 

Sometimes our smile can be the key to our confidence, so you may want to think about things like teeth whitening or straightening. You don’t need to have any massive cosmetic enhancements to this area, as your local dentist may be able to help with braces and retainers to straighten teeth.

Whitening can also be done at your dentist or you could look at trying home DIY kits. Feeling more confident in your smile might just be the way to enhance other areas of your life. 

Facials and skincare attention 

Many of us want to pay more attention to things like our skincare, and it may be more of a focus for you now. There are things that you can do that range from costing you money to being completely free that will change the way your skin looks and feels.

You could look at trying things like facials, where they work on things like exfoliation and hydration. You could also change up your own routine. Maybe invest in some new skincare products or face masks that you can try. Of course, things like increasing your water intake can also dramatically change the condition of your skin.
