There are lots of problems that we tend to experience as we get older when it comes to our bodies. Some of it is naturally going to happen, whereas others are likely brought on by how we’ve treated our bodies in the past. With that being said, here are some tips to avoid back problems during your 30s.

Get A Good Mattress
A good mattress is going to help incredibly well when it comes to your back and support for the rest of your body too. Typically, mattresses will last for around 8-10 years depending on the quality and the usual wear and tear. If you’ve had your mattress for too long then it’s worth finding a new one. Some may spend thousands on their mattress whereas others might only spend a few hundred. It’s worth looking at the options, comparing the benefits of each and then shopping around for your chosen mattress. You’re always likely to come across a cheaper version of what you have originally found.
When you get a good mattress, you’re likely to get a better night’s sleep and it improves the support and comfort for your body too.
Lift Things In Right Way
When you’re lifting things, like heavy boxes and equipment, you want to be really careful about how you go about lifting them. The common way that people will naturally do it is to bend over and pick up the item. However, that’s going to be bad for your back and could cause injury if you’re not careful. Instead, squat down, brace yourself and only lift it up if it’s something you can carry easily or at least for ten to fifteen seconds. If it’s too heavy, you may cause permanent damage that might not be fixable with surgery, medication or a chiropractor.
Be Careful Of Straining Your Body Too Much
It’s important that when it comes to your body, you don’t strain it too much. We often push ourselves to our limits sometimes out of adrenaline or wanting to show off maybe? However, that one moment could cause damage to your back that’s irreversible. So with that said, try to be careful about pushing your body too far, especially when it comes to your back.
Eat A Healthy Balance Of Food
We can all benefit from having a healthy balance of food on a daily basis. You don’t need to necessarily cut out the bad stuff when it comes to your health. It’s all about moderation and eating foods that are going to provide lots of nutrients for your body. Try to find these food types and replace anything that’s not giving you enough joy or nutritional value.
You may find that certain foods are good for your bones and growing muscle which effectively protects your bones and joints. Switch up your food intake and vary it where you can.
Back problems may occur during your later years but it can certainly be avoided for the most part if you use these tips.
