This has been a crazy year. This time last year I was unemployed and not sure what was going to happen. I had not been working on my blog often until I lost my job due to time and then I moved in with my sister where I also had trouble working on my blog due to work.
In September I moved into my own place again and with only a 5 minute drive to work I was able to start blogging again and I loved it. I missed being able to put time into my blog, I was either tired from work or a long drive or could not think of anything fun to blog about. That has changed this year and I have so much planned for 2019.
I wanted to take today, New Years Eve to reflect on the post that I am most proud of. The post that I feel showcase me and hopefully help you as well.

10. SiteGround: Best Web Hosting For WordPress
I am very proud of this post because it was me taking a chance. My blogging journey started in 2006 and until 2018 I had been hosted with Bluehost. I thought I was happy with them, I figured having downtime was normal. I had tried a couple of other host with other websites I started, but I had never moved my main blog to a new host.
Now that I have been with Site Ground for almost a year I am happy to make the switch and hope you will at least check out my review with end of year update.

Living a healthy life is important to me and food is also just as important. Though I still have a long ways to go. I hope getting a jump start with my weight loss recipes, like my air fryer lemon pepper chicken wings, will help me this next year.

As an interior designer and custom home drafter in the real world I love being able to bring design into Hollybee Tells. At one point I had an interior design blog, but with having a job and a life, two blogs were just too much. I love keeping you up to date on great design trends in an affordable way.
7. Vremi 10 Piece Colorful Knife Set Review
This review post makes my list because after almost a year, I am still recommending these knifes. In fact Christmas day I was telling one of my sisters that she needs to buy these knifes. They are that amazing. I’m thinking of buying a second set!
The truth is if I had gotten one of my sisters in our Secret Santa they would have a set now, but I didn’t.
6. Help! My Cat is Lost!
Once I moved into my new home I was ready to relax and enjoy my new space, my cat had other plans. He got out just a couple of weeks after I moved in and I was in a panic. He didn’t know the area, and I was so scared for him. The good news is he came back and I learned how to get him back if he got out again, he did just a few weeks after that.

I love this post because it’s me getting back to my design roots and helping you stay up to date on the newest home décor trends out there. There are so many inexpensive ways to use living coral in your home and have a fun look.
4. Smart Cooler Double Insulated Cup Set
I love this post because this is another item I still recommend. I still use my Smart cooler and love it. In fact I used it on Christmas to take coffee on the trip to my sisters. It was a 2 hour drive, we were there for 3 hours and a two hour drive home. My coffee was still hot when I finished it on the way home.
3. Think Full Time Blogging is Impossible? Think Again!
Seven years or so ago I ran a small forum called Blogger Love. It was a forum to help bloggers network and grow. Forums are not the thing anymore and after I got rid of it I stopped talking as much about blogging.
In 2018 I started thinking about how much I miss helping others learn more about blogging, so I have started sharing more blogging tips and even started a new Facebook group this past month called Blogger Bosses

This post is my number two post because this is a post I worked really hard on. Not only because I had trouble with the product, but because I still really liked it. This post was just going to be a review of the new Amazon Smart Plug, but due to myself having issues setting it up I decided to also make a great troubleshooting guide. I’m very proud of the work I put into this post.

This is my number one post because it took me a month to come up with all of the ideas in this post. Some are my own ideas, others I got from other bloggers or guides. This post not only helps me when I’m in a blogging rut, but has helped a few of my readers too and that is why I do post like this, to help you.
