Now that I finally have a new laptop I spent the last hour on two of my blogs going though comments and deleting spam. While I was doing that I realized that I have missed so many great comments from you, my readers!
I thought that my blog was not being read much and now I have found that really I was just missing the most important part of running a blog, the community! I am currently working on writing a post about changes I am going to be making to my blogs and how I run them. One is going to be trying to check on the comments at least 4 times a week. I have not been doing that and I now see how much I have been missing out on.
So if you notice you get a response to a comment you wrote 3 months ago, this is why, I have not had time to read them all.
If your a blogger how much time do you spend on comments? Do you think that reading and responding to comments is as important as writing great blog post?
